Paper order preview

Describe a hypothetical trade, have the risk engine evaluate it, and — only if approved — confirm a simulated paper order.

User-entered hypothetical input. Entry, stop and target are typed by you; the platform does not fabricate or pre-fill prices. Market-data provenance is not entered here: the server fetches it from the designated primary provider at evaluation time and shows it with the decision.

A rejection means “no trade”. It is a valid, expected outcome of the risk process — not an error.

Market data is fetched by the server. When you evaluate, the API takes the latest quote from the designated primary provider and uses its source, label, quality, timestamp and spread. Client-supplied data labels are never trusted, and no other provider is used if the primary is unavailable — the decision is then rejected with “missing” data.

Your entry price is an assumption: it is checked against the executable side of the quote (ask for long, bid for short) within the policy’s tolerance.

Stop-loss warning: A stop loss does not guarantee the maximum realized loss. Price gaps, slippage, illiquidity, latency, rejected orders or broker outages can cause losses larger than the planned loss.
